Two friends, German inventor Marian Piper and Swiss product designer François Locher, both fathers of three, teamed up in 2018 to completely redesign the conventional stroller. Its inadequate functionality, outdated 90’s design, general poor quality and low ecological and ethical standards called for creative new concepts and innovation!

2019: Marian Piper and François Locher they founded Locher, Piper und Partner GmbH, together with Swiss mechanical engineer Matthias Günthart.

2020: Cooperation with the Swiss University FHNW begins.

2021: Belgian Sales Manager Marc Nachtergaele joins the team. Marc Nachtergaele was largely responsible for the success of Joolz in Europe and also worked for Brio and Kiddy.

2021: World-renowned actor and musician Arón Piper becomes a shareholder in the company.

2022: German engineer Dr. Roland Schröder joins the team. He further refines the stroller’s complex technology with ingenious solutions.

2022: Construction of the first fully functioning chassis prototype by Dr. Schröder: the stroller chassis opens AND closes automatically at the push of a button, by purely mechanical means!
