SunIce Festival at a Glance:
SunIce Festival is a rapidly growing multigenre music festival, which was able to report a completely sold-out festival for the third time in a row in April 2024 at one of the most beautiful locations in Switzerland – in St. Moritz. The concept of a holistic, exclusive lifestyle festival experience in the Engadin, which many initially dismissed as impossible, brought around 20,000 visitors and almost 5 million in value to the Engadin last April and has developed into one of the most renowned festivals in Switzerland within a very short timeline.
After three successful festival editions in the midst of the Engadine mountain landscape, the expansion to Ascona will follow in September 2024 – with 15,000–20,000 visitors expected as the counterpart to the already established winter edition.
SunIce offers an ideal investment opportunity to become part of a long-term success story.

From idea to icon:
The roots of SunIce Festival go back to 2016, when two bored young people from St. Moritz decided to organise their own party and put an end to the dying nightlife in the Engadin.
Since 2016, the label "NoTomorrow Events – the party series in the Upper Engadine" has been organising smaller events in the Engadine with up to 500 people to counteract the lack of nightlife in the mountains. With the initial success and the entrepreneurial appetite awakened, the fledgling event series quickly expanded throughout German-speaking Switzerland: after just 12 months, the "NoTomorrow – Events" label was organising parties and events in a number of Swiss cities: Davos, Chur, Zurich, Basel, Aarau and many more.
In 2018, after around 30 successful events, the dream of something bigger was born during founder Loris' language study trip to Barcelona: The NoTomorrow Festival, which was later renamed SunIce Festival. An EDM and techno festival that would rejuvenate the St. Moritz location for a weekend and turn it on its head. An experience festival that would offer guests and partners an unreal, completely new festival experience. A festival that combines nature, sport and music in a symbiosis.
After a six-month conception phase, the founding of their first own limited company at the end of 2018 and plenty of disdain from the authorities of St. Moritz, all the capital saved up over the past few years was invested in a huge marketing production in 2019 to finally prove to the municipality of St. Moritz how serious the founders were about their idea. After a twelve-month approval and financing phase, the first confirmed approval followed in summer 2019, whereupon the largest influencer and social media campaign in Switzerland to date was launched in autumn. All to market the premiere of SunIce Festival in March 2020.
On 13 March 2020 - 14 days before the festival was du to open its doors – SunIce Festival had to be cancelled due to the spreading Covid-19 pandemic and postponed to 2021. This almost led to the bankruptcy of the fledgling company. The 2021 edition also had to be cancelled and postponed to 2022. On 1 April 2022 - two years after the originally planned premiere and three and a half years after the original idea – SunIce finally opened its doors and welcomed around 12,000 guests over the weekend. After the initial rollercoaster ride, SunIce Festival was a complete success at its premiere: from guests and DJs to partners and media – SunIce was showered with praise.
The second festival edition in 2023 (30.03. – 02.04.2023) impressed with a four-day festival, an increase in guests from 12,000 to 18,000 people and an increase in sales of almost 60%.
The third edition of SunIce Festival from 4–7 April 2024 was also a completely sold-out festival and set new standards with almost 22,000 visitors and sales growth of around 40%.
In September 2024, SunIce Festival will take place for the first time in late summer, opening its second festival location two and a half years after its premiere – this time with a wealth of experience and numerous partners behind it, which in turn will bring unimagined opportunities for growth and scaling.
Why should someone invest in SunIce Festival?
Foundation & Partner
Thanks to its unique character, SunIce Festival has established itself nationally within a very short timeline. After just three festival editions, it already has remarkable sponsorship power with around 50 renowned partners and around CHF 1,200,000 in sponsorship revenue per year – from the festival in St. Moritz alone.
The second festival location will further expand the partnerships, strengthen the cornerstones of the company and thus further consolidate the foundations.
Optimal time
Due to the upcoming expansion, SunIce offers the ideal time to invest in order to become part of a long-term success story.
Promising growth forecasts
SunIce Festival has doubled both its turnover and visitor numbers within three editions. The second festival location will increase the annual turnover to around CHF 6,000,000 by 2024.
With our strong foundation and promising growth forecasts, we expect to increase annual sales to over CHF 10,000,000 by 2027 and increase the value of the company by at least 50-60%.
No borrowed capital and no investment funds to date
SunIce Festival was built from the ground up without investor funds or major outside capital and has proven to be profitable on its own.
Loris is the visionary founder and managing director of SunIce Festival who, with his unshakeable belief in the impossible, brought SunIce Festival to life in the first place. He is the driving force and motor behind SunIce and is therefore largely responsible for its current size and national relevance.
Nicola has been a co-founder and art director at SunIce since day 1. Within the company, he acts as a one-man creative agency with the experience of three previous start-ups. He has been shaping SunIce, long known as the blue brand with the red frames, and creating SunIce's unique visual, acoustic and haptic identity. Whether at the festival, on screen or anywhere in between.
Joel is the financial backbone of the company. When he joined the company around two years ago, he was initially in a completely different position (Volunteer Manager). When a gap opened up in the finance department, Joel seized his opportunity and, thanks to his many years of professional experience, proved that he was the ideal person for the finance position. Thanks to his determination and efficiency, he was appointed CFO shortly afterwards. A year later, he became a co-owner.
Marco is the project manager of SunIce Festival and has been with us from the very beginning. He has 23 years of professional experience in the event sector. His strengths lie in the planning and physical realisation of the festival. As the oldest member of the team at 43, he is an important support for many and helps in all departments with help and advice. Thanks to his extensive experience with events with up to 25,000 daily visitors and his expertise, even critical and unforeseen events can be resolved quickly and competently. Creating and building the festival in St. Moritz in this way requires the utmost concentration and mature skills, which he certainly has.
