• Sustainable and ecological
We focus on environmentally friendly production that does not negatively affect the ecological balance.
• Our salmon is 100% free from microplastics and antibiotics
Our water is filtered and disinfected before it reaches the fish. Therefore, no medications need to be used. If there are parasites or microplastics in the incoming water, they are filtered out.
• High animal welfare
Animal welfare is a high priority for us. We constantly monitor all vital factors, such as oxygen content or PH value, and feed our fish healthy and ecologically sound food.
• Local and fresh
Wild salmon from Alaska is sometimes transported to China for processing before it ends up on our plates. We produce locally for the Swiss market, thus massively shortening transport routes and creating 50 jobs in the canton of Glarus in the medium term.
Our project is sustainable partly due to its CO2 savings and energy production from renewable resources. Our farm counteracts the overfishing of the world's oceans while producing qualitatively superior, healthy Swiss salmon. For our investors, Swiss Blue Salmon is extremely attractive in the long term, with an expected dividend of approximately 25% after break-even.
"99% of salmon is imported into Switzerland and as a consumer I often don't know how the fish was caught, produced or transported. We want to change that by producing sustainable Swiss salmon locally."
